First impressions
My first impressions on his art work was that it was inspirational and amazing to watch. It's something I'd love to do one day because it just shows that time and effort can make a beautiful thing.
What material and processes have been used
In this artwork I can see a portrait of a woman in the material of paper drawings and CAD, the woman in the artwork is standing in front of a blue background, she is a white woman with ginger hair.the whole art piece is a constant movement because of the 169 drawings is of this woman. It has a scruffy style towards the drawings. The colours I see in this is blue, orange, pink, black and white. The technique that the artist used was mixed media because of the CAD and the paper drawings.
Background information
The title of this art wark is called Susan Adele Greenfield, baroness greenfield, it was made in the year of 2000
Meaning
this makes the viewer think, how just a 169 frames go so fast and how technology has prefected this art piece because a couple of years ago we didn't even have the idea of the computer, which suggests that art is catching up with technology. The feeling I get from this art piece is that it's inspirational and wonderful because anyone can do it in any style, instead of paintings you can do photos which can be amazing because you could have baby photos till the present day which is beautiful to watch.
what do you think of it
the artwork makes me think of how can I respond to that because it's so good in it's own way because its a mixed media in away due to the paper drawings to the computer software. what I particularly like about his piece is the function outcome this is because it takes a paper drawing and makes it into a video, which is amazing because its something new, exciting and it's something we haven't seen before. I would like to ask the artist of what was he thinking when it came to drawing Susan Adele Greenfield 169 times? how long did it take for him to draw 169 portraits of Susan Adele Greenfield? and what would his next outcome if it were to be related to this art piece?. this artwork gives me the following ideas for my own work, I'm going to use the iPad 2 as a screen that will play the video that I will make on the iMac on the software called iMovie because it will allow me to do so and also it will allow me to have music in the background which I'm hoping to have sounds of transport, people walking and talking.
