Experimentation lino prints

These are the limo prints that I did of my friend Aaron, this is from a photo that one of our friends took whilst we was resting because of the long walk. As you can see I cut little bits at a time because of the different developed colours on the prints. I like how it had sections of colours that are fading with the other colours as it develops.
As you can see this is my Lino print of my friend Aaron, every time I did the same colour print I'd print it again on another piece of paper to see how the destiny of colour fades away and I liked that because if you compare to the other prints, it's very easy to see where the pressure went and where it us still.
This was the second attempt of the same colour lino print. it was a success for me because you're still able to see where I developed the lines and shapes. For this second attempt I thought it turned out great because it's still a strong outcome.

In this photo I printed a strong red and then a white which I thought it was really good because it shows the development of the lino printing because during this experiment I trimmed off bits from the darkest to the lightest and as you can see it simplified the tones.
In this photo it shows a very strong print between the colours of yellow and green, I used the same lino stage, in this photo it shows that I used the colours of yellow and green. the colours mixed well and as again I printed another lino print from the same colour on other two pieces of paper
This is the second attempt that I produced from the first print. It's a bit faded than the first one which I think its good because it makes me focus on the right side of the cheek because you can see 50% of it if you compare it to the first print.
This is my third attempt on the same colour and lino stage. If you look again on the right cheek of the face you can just about see the trimmed section that I cut off. I'd say 10% of the trimmed section you can just about see on this third attempt.
I love this print because the green is meant to be on top but the black is still poking out and showing it's true colours, the black makes the other colours stand out in a way because it makes the green more visible and also the white shows the trimmed marks that I've made to make the shape and line.

This is one of the two that developed even further than the rest because It shows the stages of this lino print through the colours that I put on. I think it's amazing because it shows my hard work and as I trim more off it starts to look like the photo that I chosen to use.
This is one of the two that developed even further than the rest because It shows the stages of this lino print through the colours that I put on. It's really effective because there is so many colours in this print that mixes well and it compliments each colour such as the green on top of the red, even though the green is on top the red shines out the most because it's the darker one out of the two and by having that it shows the rest of the face.
